Change a booking

Last updated 23 September 2026

Bookings can't be edited. To change the dates, swap to a different room, or fix a name or phone number, the booking has to be cancelled and made again.

If you made the booking

Ask the club. Only club administrators can cancel a booking, so you can't do it yourself even for your own booking — phone or email the club, tell them what needs to change, and they'll sort it out.

Your confirmation email has your rooms and dates on it, which makes it the easiest thing to quote.

If you're a club administrator

  1. Delete the booking.
  2. Make the new booking with the corrected details.

Do both in one sitting. Deleting releases the room immediately, and until you rebook it anyone searching those dates can take it.

If you're only moving the dates for a room that's popular, check the bookings list for the new dates before you delete the old booking — if the room is already taken then, you'd be cancelling a booking you can't replace.

What the guest receives

They get a cancellation email when you delete the booking, then a confirmation email for the new one. Both are automatic, and neither can be turned off — so if the change was their idea, it's worth a word so the cancellation email isn't a surprise.

Booked several rooms at once?

Each room is its own booking, even when they were made in one go. Deleting one doesn't touch the others, and each deletion sends its own cancellation email.
